DraftKings, the Sportsbook, Fantasy app, NFT Marketplace, and Casino have brought us a whole host of innovations since they launched one of America’s first regulated sportsbooks.
If you ask us, they have built one of the best casino apps out there and constantly have some of the best sign-up promos we’ve ever seen.
It is no surprise that DraftKings was also one of the first books to launch Parlay and later on Same-Game Parlays.
We have collected all your submissions for questions about betting Parlays and DraftKings and summarised the answers into the essential points.
If your question is not in there, feel free to email us at email@example.com or dm us on social.
Does DraftKings Do Parlays?
DraftKings has been accepting Parlay wagers for a few years now.
While some of their Parlay features are still relatively new, such as their SGP Parlays and Round Robin features, the original Parlay has been a staple in their catalog ever since 2019.
To bet on a Parlay at DraftKings, you must log in to your account or create a new one by using one of our sign-up links.
When you sign up, we receive a small commission, which allows us to produce content like this. Once you have your account, you can navigate to their sportsbook to see all the events they currently are accepting bets on.
If you want to place a Parlay, simply add multiple bets to your bet slip, and DraftKings will prompt you to see whether you want to bet them separately or as a Parlay.
If you choose to click the Parlay odds, DraftKings will combine the bets. Hit the place bet button, and that’s it!
Does DraftKings Do Same-Game Parlays?
DraftKings launched their Same-Game Parlays ahead of the 2021 NFL season.
They were the second big book to do so after FanDuel. You can bet on a variety of markets within the SGP and combine game outcomes with Player and Team Props.
DraftKings does not yet allow you to combine multiple SGPs into one Parlay as FanDuel does with SGP+. However, it’s likely just a question of time for DraftKings to enter that market as well.
What Can You Parlay At DraftKings?
For those of you who are new to betting, Parlays are bets where you combine multiple bets into one large bet.
If all parts of this bet, the so-called “legs,” hit, you win the Parlay. Parlays pay out significantly more money than if you were to be the same bets separately, but they also carry more risk as every single leg of the Parlay has to win.
In theory, if just one leg loses, you lose your bet and your stake is gone.
However, to demonstrate DraftKings’ innovative nature, they also offer Parlay Insurance on just this eventuality. See below for a deeper explanation of this.
You can Parlay pretty much any bet type at DraftKings. Player Props, Team Props, Moneylines, Futures. Simply add it all to your bet slip, and DraftKings will offer you the Parlay odds.
You cannot yet Parlay In-Game or live bets at Parlay, but most of the US books don’t have this option just now.
Almost all sportsbooks also won’t allow highly correlated Futures Parlays, so keep that in mind when placing your next bet.
How Long Does It Take For Parlay Bets To Settle At DraftKings?
DraftKings is committed to settling bets as quickly as possible. Almost all bets will be settled within minutes of a game coming to an end, and we have rarely seen a market take longer than 30 minutes to settle.
Of course, there are always exceptions: An example of this was a recent Formula 1 race in which one of the drivers was considered for a penalty after the race, which would have affected some betting outcomes.
In cases like these, DraftKings will wait for an official decision to be made before the bet is settled.
Where Are DraftKings Parlays Legal?
No other sportsbook is available in as many states as DraftKings.
The company’s sportsbooks apps can currently be used in 18 states.
That means the Massachusetts-based book is active in two more states than its nemesis FanDuel with DraftKings having exclusive access to both New Hampshire and Oregon.
Betting Parlays on DraftKings is legal in all states that DraftKings is licensed to operate. For a full list, head over to BestOdds.com and check out our review.
Why Can’t I Place My Parlay At DraftKings?
We sometimes get complaints from users about them not being able to get their bets on when it comes to Parlays at DraftKings.
Most of the time, the reason for this is in the bettor’s chosen markets. DraftKings (and most other US sportsbooks) limit bettors on highly correlated Parlays.
For example, the books will likely refuse Parlaying a Pass Completion Prop for TB12 and an under Prop on sacks against Brady, as these bets are too highly correlated.
However, if you have an idea, it’s worth giving it a shot, as books can’t be on top of every single market. You might just get lucky!
What Is The DraftKings Parlay Insurance?
The DraftKings Parlay insurance is a unique promo offer that DraftKings runs frequently.
This is how it works: When you place a four-leg parlay on DraftKings, and 3 out of 4 bets hit, but the last leg does not, you are eligible to get up to $25 back.
That means if you’ve put $5 dollars on a 4-leg Parlay and 3 out of 4 legs hit, you will get your $5 back even though you have not won the bet.
